Hello
I am trying to use a template to open several netcdf files in grads. The time
format of my files are:  *.1998-05-02-00000.* I therefore used in my grads
script:

'sdfopen /mnt/datos/CAM3.0/output_9798/spmd.cam2.h2.1998-05-02-00000.nc
spmd.cam2.h2.%y4-%m2-%d2-%n5.nc 120'

It opens fine the first file, but then I get the following message:
nc_open failure:
No such file or directory
/mnt/datos/CAM3.0/output_9798/spmd.cam2.h2.1998-05-02-%n5.nc does not
exist or
is not a netCDF file.

so it seems like then oprtion %n5 is not correct.
any idea on how to fix this??
