displaying wind overlay data

Hello,

I am using the win32e PC version of grads.

My situation is that I cant figure out how to display an overlay of the 2 wind components (u and v) of netCDF (.nc) files.

I tried:   d vwnd ; uwnd    but it didnt work out.  Also tried with the file# but nothing came up.
