This should work. If you really are defining and using 20 to 90 color
contours, grads might object to that many. But in that case, there should
be an error message. Are you sure your data is in the range you are
specifying (and not say, kelvins for temperature instead of degrees celsius,
or something like that. Try just doing a regular contour plot. While
plotting, grads should give a message like "Contouring -30 to 40, interval
10"

can anybody give the syntax in GrADS to make desired shading for different
levels? when i tried like
'set rgb 20 20 40 60'
.......
........
colndx='-18 -16 -14.....'
colevs=' 92 91 90.....'
'set gxout shaded'
'set clevs 'colndx
'set ccols 'colevs
'd x'
it doesnt display any thing. can anybody point what could be wrong? or is
there any other way to do it? please attend.
