      I'm trying to get a working version of GrADS on a RHEL8 system. 

      Haven't been successful with the 2.2.0 or 2.2.1 precompiled

      binaries and libraries at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/downloads.php">http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/downloads.php</a>

      , so I'm trying to compile from the source code.  Running into

      issues however with either gdlib or cairo when I attempt this

      (also trying the 2.2.3 source code at

      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/j-m-adams/GrADS">https://github.com/j-m-adams/GrADS</a> ).  So, checking to see if

      success has been achieved with RHEL 8 and the specific steps

      needed to get a working version going.  Thanks much for any help,<br>
