Hi,
</div>
<div>
I'm having an issue with the sdfopen command on the production dods server.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Using the following command:
</div>
<div>
sdfopen
<a href="https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/dods/nam/nam20210426/nam_12z">https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/dods/nam/nam20210426/nam_12z</a>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
I receive the following error message:
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Scanning self-describing file: https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/dods/nam/nam20210426/nam_12z
<br>curl error details:
<br>Error: nc_open failed to open file https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/dods/nam/nam20210426/nam_12z
<br>NetCDF: I/O failure
<br>gadsdf: Couldn't ingest SDF metadata.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
And starting 4/20 with the 12Z run of the model, many of my batch jobs to retrieve data using the above approach no longer work. But it's funny, some still do work. Its a real head scratcher.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Anybody have any insight as to what's going on?
</div>
