I tried to write a netCDF file with two variables (SST and SSTA), but found that I can only write one variable. Is there any way to write two or more variables to a NetCDF file?
Thanks
Some guidance for writing out ascii values is here: http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/gadoc/ascii.html
To add the ?N? or ?E? to your values, use something like ?set prnopts %3.0fN? or ?set prnopts %3.0fE?.
Yes, you will need a full descriptor file and a PDEF file to read any CEMS model output that is not on a regular lat/lon grid. If you do a google search with ?site:gradsusr.org pdef cmip5? you will find many previous posts about how to do this.
Hi everybody

I'd like to know if there is a way to read the netcdf data from the outputs of CEMS model.

Have any of you worked with this model and read its outputs in grads? I tried it, but it seems to need a descriptor file.

PD: The data is able to read the data using ncview, but the graphic is not correct, it seems very elongated.

Thanks a lot for your replies!
The lats4d script makes that really easy. Its in the grads script library.
I use the opengrads version.
