The symbol warning appears to be from libdap, which is only used by GrADS for accessing station data remotely via GDS. If you are not using that feature, I wouldn’t worry about it. Now that you’ve got netcdf4, what exactly doesn’t work? </div>

Better to download a build from <a href="http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/downloads.php" target="_blank">http://cola.gmu.edu/grads<wbr>/downloads.php</a>
and install it yourself.
