Dear climate researchers,

In calculating extreme climate indices using CDO i don't know how to
calculate the 90th percentile of daily maximum of any parameter (say
temperature) of a five day window centred on each calendar day of a
given climate reference period.
For e.g. I have to calculate ECATX90P (Very warm days percent) the command for which cdo manual mentions is--- cdo eca_tx90p txfile txn90file ofile- so in this I don't know how to calculate TXn90
which is the 90th percentile of daily maximum temperatures of a five
day window centred on each calendar day of a given climate reference
period. How to prepare this TXn90 file. please help me.
