I'm not sure what you mean by "my file is .grd", presumably this is
a GrADS binary file? I believe the cdo command takes the GrADS
descriptor file as input, not the binary file.<br>

must have a .ctl file associated with the .grd file in
order to convert.<br>
But unfortunately I don't have them, please suggest me the
appropriate<br>
method to perform the same conversion.<br>
