GrADS is picking up the grid size of your input data set. I suppose
you could use "lterp" with a fake grid that is really high res, make
a new variable interpolated to that higher res, then display that. <br>

I think the -poly option will produce transparency at missing
values, so you will need to set values that are currently
displayed as grey to "missing". You can do this using the
grads function "maskout". <br>
