<p> Pretty new to grads and need help on the following:</p>
<p> how do i calculate wet and dry extremes in grads ( i.e 90 and 10 percentile extremes of say precipitation from 1976 to 2005) <br>

<p>Also give the east wind and west wind for the period 1976 to 2005, (ie v, u), how do i calculate convergence?<br>
