I think you can do this, but it's a little complicated. iSSH in
particular has some settings, and the host machine also needs to be
configured. I think it easiest to first determine if your ipad
handles X11. In iSSH, there is heading called "general settings".
Under that group there is a section called "X Server" (you'll have
to scroll down to it). There are options to turn on xserver,
settings for the screen, etc. Turn "Use X Server" to "on". When
you then ssh into your linux machine, try open an xterminal or some
other X11 application. You should get a popup that says "X CLient
Connected; Display X Server"; click on "yes". This should switch
the window from your ssh terminal to the X application (grads
display window, xterm, whatever). You can toggle back and forth
between the X11 display and the ssh terminal via the little icon in
the top bar (the one that looks like the X11 X-icon brings you to
the X11 screen.<br>
