It seems GrADS does not support Cylindrical Equal Area which is used in AMSR-E land3 data set (<a href="http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/pdef.html">http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/pdef.html</a>). I just add this projection in MeteoInfo Java edition (<a href="http://www.meteothinker.com/Downloads.aspx">http://www.meteothinker.com/Downloads.aspx</a>) to read and plot AMSR-E data. Hope it will be useful to you.<div>
