Subject: [gradsusr] order of nested functions

Hi All,

What is the order in which GrADS processes nested
function calls: from the inside to outside, or vice
versa? For example,

ga-> d
max(ave(cloud,time=jan1850,time=dec1900),z=1,z=4)

My intent was to take the average, and then the maximum.
Looking
at the output, it appears the max is taken first and then
averaged.
I could be misinterpreting the meaning of the output however.

Thank you, Matt
