Have extracted a GFS file for temperature component and the format of the file
is in .grb2.<br><br>To read this file I have downloaded .ctl and .idx file provided with the datafile itself from the website. But
when tried to open it
in grads using command "open <i>filename.ctl" it</i> show an error:<br>"</font><font color="#0000FF" face="times new roman,times" size="2">Can't open Station/Index map file /www/html/tmp/nomads//orders/1582/gfs_3_20100813_hh00_000.idx <br>The data file was not opened.</font><font face="times new roman,times" size="2">" <br><br>Can anyboby help me in sorting out this problem.
