    I found the root of issue.<br>

    NMM nest has to be exactly in the center of parent domain. Now it is

      yes PDEF values are correct. Investigating further confirms that
      it is not issue in describing and reading gribs but in WRF
      somewhere. Shifting of topography and domain distorting happens
      only in the nest domain, whereas mother domain has absolutely
      correct placed landmask and other fields.<br>

        <div>Also, have a close look at your PDEF line and make sure you
          are using the exact same values for the projection as what is
          in the grib file. &nbsp;Use wgrib -V WRFPRS... to see what those
          values are (i.e., standard lat, center lon, etc).<br>
