Will it specifically be possible to define different transparency
levels, so that a "rainbow" could go from 255 255 255 0 (white, opaque)
to 255 255 255 240 (white, very transparent)?
Thanks Davide,

I couldn't get Tserbarb to plot in exactly the same way as gxout barb while I tried it so I am using regrid to interpolate the whole dataset and plotting from that instead, which makes the scripting mush less messy as well.

Thanks again anyway.
Good day,

I have been using the COLA ensemble data sets for some time and this morning I could not access the data. The data was downloaded on http://monsoondata.org:9090/dods/gfsens. Is there any way that the ensemble repository (directory) could be re-actived once again or has the datasets been relocated somewhere else?
