Hi. So I successfully (I think), installed eof grads on my Windows
7 machine following instructions I found online in the gradsusr
files. I have grads version <a
href="ftp://grads.iges.org/grads/1.8/grads-1.8sl11-win32e.exe">grads-1.8sl11-win32e.exe</a>.

Create in C the folder eof, before copy eof grads.zip into.
4º Extract the file, you should see the following files in the folder:
eof.gs
eofudf.exe
readme.html
5º Copy eof.gs to folder "lib" folder in the installation of the grads.
6º Create the file udft.txt folder eof in C:
Put the following into the file:
eofudf 2 6 expr value value value value char
sequential
C:/eof/eofudf.exe
eofudf.in
eofudf.out
7º Then go to My Computer> Advanced> Environment variables
In the User variables click New, and the variable name put GAUDFT, and variable
value put C: \ eof \ udft.txt.
8º Among the grads and put q udft.</pre>

is ok.

I got to the last part but when I try to run the eof I get the
following:<br>
eof pmax1<br>
Writing data to transfer file ...<br>
Executing eof binary ...<br>
Error from eofudf: Error opening transfer files<br>
File name: eofudf.in<br>
Operation Error: Error from eofudf function<br>
Error ocurred at column 1<br>
DISPLAY error: Invalid expression<br>
Expression eofudf(pmax1,2,12-1,70,pmax1_)<br>
eof.gs: First call of eofudf returned Error. STOP<br>

Any thoughts?<br>

Hi, all. I was wondering if there is a way to calculate EOF in
opengrads 2.0 or if I need to use the previous version of
regular grads in order to run like EOF Grads <font size="-1">Version
0.155. Is there something like fish.gex?<br>
