When using SDFWRITE, I have been unable to output a single-timestep NC file with the desired time coordinate. They always show "00Z01JAN0001" for time when I do a 'q ctlinfo' or 'q dim'. However, If I output a multi-timestep file, the correct times are shown. I am not having a problem with the displayed data, and I do know that I can analyze using t=1 or time=00Z01JAN0001, so it's not a show-stopper.<div>
<br></div><div>I have tried various combinations of 'set sdfattr time String.....' to set attribute metadata, but to no avail. Other 'set sdfattr...' commands are working.</div><div><br></div><div>I am currently using opengrads version 2.0.a7.oga.3. The documentation says 'set sdfattr' command is available in v2.0.a3 or higher, but perhaps some won't work with my version?</div>
