you misunderstand me. I have two files, <a href="http://uwind.nc">uwind.nc</a>, <a href="http://vwind.nc">vwind.nc</a> and I want to produce a spatial plot (lon = 35 68, lat = 0 75) of u;v for each of these time values and average out the result. I have more lists, so typing out define for each time value and then using x+y+...+z/n is not really a good option<br>
<br>can anyone help me out?<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 17 May 2011 17:51, saeed bayat <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:saeedbayat7276@gmail.com">saeedbayat7276@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex;">
Hi James<br>If you work in linux environment, you can use these command for create a file with time series or a file that is average of several files: <br>for make a file include average all of files: ncra <a href="http://1.nc" target="_blank">1.nc</a> <a href="http://2.nc" target="_blank">2.nc</a> 3 .nc <a href="http://4.nc" target="_blank">4.nc</a> <a href="http://5.nc" target="_blank">5.nc</a> <a href="http://output.nc" target="_blank">output.nc</a><br>
for create a file include time series of all files: ncrcat <a href="http://1.nc" target="_blank">1.nc</a> <a href="http://2.nc" target="_blank">2.nc</a> <a href="http://3.nc" target="_blank">3.nc</a> <a href="http://4.nc" target="_blank">4.nc</a> <a href="http://output.nc" target="_blank">output.nc</a><br>
