Every time I try to install cygwin, a pop up button comes up saying that: <u>The application has failed to start because the cygwin 1.dll file was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.</u> Documentation came with containing a set of instructions for building the CNVGRIB.<span> </span>Since I do not possess enough knowledge to build and compile this, I have not tried to do this.<span> </span>When I tried to install GRADS, a pop up button came up again with a similar saying except it was about the cygX11-6.dll. Is the application only restricted to MS DOS or do I need some more extra files? I had an IT specialist look at the installation problem but he was not able to fix it either. I have read through your 1992 manual, but since I am not familiar with the programming language, I thought it would be best to approach you guys in this forum.</span></p>
