I suggest reading the documentation for the maskout function: <a href="http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/gradfuncmaskout.html">http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/gradfuncmaskout.html</a><br><br>The ".2" indicates that the function should look in file number 2 (assuming file number 2 is open...it can only be open if a file 1 is opened, which is the default number of any file that is opened).<br>
