<div>Dear John,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>You hit the nail on the head. My GrADS package was not compatible with my OS. I now installed a compatible GrADS version and everything works fine. Sorry, that was a very stupid error of mine. Thank you for your help.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>With kind regards,</div>

<p class="MsoNormal">I installed GrADS on a Linux machine. I access this machine via internet from a PC with windows (using VPN Client, Xming and PuTTY). GrADS does run in batch mode. Evoking GrADS from the command line I get the message given below. My first suspicion was that there is a problem when visualizing a graphical interface from my remote access. However, I am able to visualize other graphical outputs. (Type: "xclock" and I see a graphic of a clock). Does anyone know what the problem may be and how to fix it? Thank you very much in advance.</p>
