<DIV>Did Anybody design own GrADS fonts?</DIV>

<DIV>There are just 5 fonts provided with the GrADS distribution. These fonts
are not satisfactory for me, and especially the default font Helvetica is not
standard. </DIV>

<DIV>The documentation about "font file format" roughly describes the format of
font file and mentions a .c file "gxchpl.c" plotting these fonts actually. In
the gxchpl.c, there is a note,
"Plot character strings using the Hershey fonts".
However, the format of font0.dat with GrADS distribution is different from these
Hershey fonts (like the timesg.jhf in attachments) downloaded from <A
href="http://emergent.unpythonic.net/software/hershey">http://emergent.unpythonic.net/software/hershey</A> or
other sites. </DIV>
