I want display vertical cross sections on the wind velocities. I have the vertical velocity field (w) and the zonal and meridional (u and v) wind vetors for each level. I get to display in GRADS for each level the horizontal field (u,v). But when I try display the vertical one, for example the (w,u) or the (w,v) GRADS display only the first field (w).
For example, for a equatorial vertical cross section I'm doing the following:

set lon 0 360
set lat 0
set lev 1000 100
set gxout vector
'd w;u'

And GRADS displays only the w (vertical) field. If a invert the positions, putting 'd u;w' GRADS displays onle the first vertical field (u).
If I put 'd u;v' I get the horizontal fields without problems.
I don't see how to fix the problem.
Someone could help me?
Thank you very much.
Regards.
