confirmed: Is it even necessary to install the full-blown X Window system in
order to simply run GrADS remotely, using ssh w/ X11 forwarding? Up until know,
Ive simply been using ‘yum groupinstall “X Window System” ‘
on fedora in order to get the libraries for GrADS, and this installs a LARGE
amount of additional packages used by XWin, but now I’d like to to avoid
this, and just install what I need to build & run GrADS without installing
XWindows (or at least a minimum set of X11 libs). <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
