trying to use the HYCOM utility:

is the number of days since December 31 1900, 00:00:00. I understand
Matlab has utilities to compute the numbers for the MT parameter, but does
anyone know if GRaDS has the capability of automatically computing the MT number
for today's date? If anyone has used GRaDS with the HYCOM site, please let
me know. I could use a few tips.</SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>
