<div dir="ltr">All,<br><br>I'm trying to produce some "aviation relevant" forecast images from my WRF model runs. Surface based CAPE, 0-90mb ml, 0-180mb ml, and 0-255mb ml CAPE are all available explicitly from the model, however I was wondering if there was a way for me to draw plots of CAPE above a certain height, i.e 500mb, or 5000m, or even better above a given temperature (freezing level or -20C height). I've gone back and forth trying to figure out how to accomplish this, however so far I've come up empty. <br>
<br>Given the 4 model forecasts of CAPE contained within my grib file, is what I'm trying to accomplish even plausible or would I need to have CAPE for each model layer within my grib file?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Dan<br></div>
