<br>Hi,<br>Can you open the grib data in grads and plot it OK? That is a test to make sure that you are pointing to the data properly. If it doesn't open in grads, lats4d likely won't work either.<br><br>The first thing I see in your ctl file that could be a problem is: index ^<a href="http://lats4d.gs">lats4d.gs</a><br>
<br>Change this to "index ^filename.idx" then run gribmap -i filename.ctl (you should do this for all your ctls that you want to convert to nc, and make sure they open in grads)<br><br>If all opens well in grads the command you have should work. However, I would suggest running <br>

I`m trying to convert Grib files to NetCDF files using lats4d but when I<br>

is the results. I`ve changed my grads version and the same error appears.<br>
Anybody have an answer for it?<br>
