<DIV>Arlindo - No luck. I've tried doing a 'cd' in the past when I've had pathing issues and it seems to make no difference. The only way to make progress is to explicitly identify the whole path to the input file:</DIV>

<DIV>Hi Arlindo,</DIV>
<DIV>I gave it a try - made much more progress this time.Still all values are undefined when I try and do a display. It seems to not be able to find the inventory file. I've included both the gdf and inv files for your review. Both are sitting in c:\grib\hires_input\ along with the gfs grib2 data file</DIV>
