'set t 1 61'<br>while (i<num_files)<br> 'set dfile 'i<br> 'd smth9(mag(ugrd_surface,vgrd_surface)*1.9)'<br><br> i=i+1<br>endwhile<br><br>I did not try the first method you spoke of 'd var.2'; I might give that a whirl. It is worth noting that GrADS 1.8S11 runs this script exactly as expected. <br>
