I haven't been able to get rxvt to work, though. If I type 'rxvt' at the command line, a small window appears for a very short time (<0.25 second) and disappears immediately. Is rxvt supposed to work without any command line options?<br>

As for other unix utilities that would be nice to have in your package, I can think of three right away: grep, tar and gunzip. Of these, grep is the most essential because of its usefulness with wgrib, among other things.<br>
