<div>This library is included in the latest supplibs-2.0.1 available from:</div>

<div> </div>
<div>You can get get the x86_64 binaries or the sources if you prefer to compile it yourself.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Some important points:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>1) Because 'libg2c' is also an internal gcc library, I have renamed this library from libg2c to libgrib2c to eliminate any possibility of conflict. I also add a configure script that should make it easier to build it in isolation as well.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>2) I also had libgrib2c in supplibs-2.0.0; however that installation was missing a header file (grib2c.h); the nre version also includes an important bug fix.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>3) Notice that grads-2.0.a0 will *not* build out of the box with supplibs-2.0.1; future versions probably will. All you need to do at this point is to extract the *.a and *.h from the supplib distro and place them in the same layout of the old supplibs, the same way you are doing it now. (The new supplibs organize the header files in a separate direcory for each folder, e.g., include/grib2c/ instead of have them flat under include/).</div>
<div> </div>
<div>4) The supplibs-2.0.1 also inlcude jasper and the other dependencies, all compiled statically.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>5) Use supplibs-2.0.0 for building grads v1.9; use supplibs-2.0.1 for building grads v2; they are not interchangeable at this point.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> Let me know if you have any questions,</div>
