I had the correct version downloaded to start with, but had made some incorrect
assumptions regarding startup. I was able to get it to work after first

(not sure if that's the exact spelling) before the window disappeared?
When I tried using the very first release of the "Superpack"
package, there was some kind of problem with grads communicating with the
Xming X server. That problem went away in the updated package that Arlindo
released a few days after the initial release. I noticed that the file
has been updated again, but I haven't tried it (I'm waiting for things
to settle down a bit). If you're not sure you have the latest version,

or in your Program Files folder. Find the executable (c:/.../PCGrADS/grads),and
right click the icon? selecting the ? 'Create Shortcut' option.? Should
