<DIV>I hade daily model analysis data of u and v components which is written to binary with a fortran program.</DIV>
<DIV>The data displays correctly in grads, but only up to day 16 out of 31. The fields displayed are exactly the same as the original data in GRIB format processed through gri2ctl and gribmap.</DIV>
<DIV>From day 17 the display command throws up the error as below. This is from a Windows platform). On LINUX the error indicated is slightly different ( request beyond data limits) </DIV>

<DIV>The same fortran program write daily pressure data and dsiplays correctly up to day 31.</DIV>
<DIV>The wind data files size is of the order of 600kb for each of u and v</DIV>
<DIV>The pressure data file size is of the order of 200-300kB</DIV>

<DIV>Reading through the archive I see that 2GB seems to be the limit of the file size which grads can handle.</DIV>
