The method I tend to use is to output my figure in png format using
the printim command then inset that into my text, as you have control
of the output image size you can size it perfectly and get good
resolution.<br>
Once my document in complete I print to file then use the utility
ps2pdf to convert to acrobat pdf format. (I'm not sure if there is a
ps2pdf utility under windows, you may have to hack ghostcript (not
easy), find a linux box or buy acrobat distiller though at some stage
acrobat had a handy utility on their website to create pdf)<br>
