[gradsusr] [EXTERNAL] [BULK] Future of GRADS

Sorry I'm very late to the party on this, but I would also like to express
my thanks to all of you who have been involved in the development of GrADS
(and Open GrADS) over the years. The software continues to perform well
with most data sets despite its age.

My use cases mean there is no need for me to consider migrating to an
alternative platform at the current time. However, I would be interested to
know what people consider to be the best alternatives, e.g. Pygrib and
Matlab
