I went to

and the only grib files that I saw were like

I download one, and it was 720x360 lat-lon grid.
I had no problems displaying it after converting it from jpeg2000
to simple packing. (The GrADS that comes with Ubuntu 20.04LTS
neglected include the jpeg2000 library.)
