[gradsusr] wgrib2 fatal error

Hi all,

When using wgrib2  with some of the Meteo France grib2 files in this way:

wgrib2 1_tmp.grib -set_grib_type c3 -grib_out 1.grib

The following error is returned:

*** FATAL ERROR: inconsistent number of bitmap points sec3-sec5: 0 sec6:
856076 ***

Is there any way to override or workaround this?
