[gradsusr] Draw a marker on a 2D time-latitude plot

Dear GrADS experts,

I would like to ask how to plot a marker on a time-latitude plot ?
Is there a way to convert a time dimension to an x-y coordinate?
say I want to plot a marker at 12N, and 01JUN2020.

I'll appreciate any help on this.
