Hi Grads Users,

I have 2 ERA5 files, one that is 3d and one that is 2d.  I have a script 
to graph quantities in the vertical from the 3d graph.  The vertical 
axis is pressure and runs from 1000 to 500.  I would like to display the 
surface pressure value from the 2d file on the graph.

Right now I can open both files, display the vertical profile at a 
single location, and then print the surface pressure from the 2d file in 
the command window.  Is there a way to get that surface pressure to 
print onto the graph?  Or even better, to read the value of surface 
pressure from the script and adjust the graph to begin at that surface 
pressure?
