[gradsusr] Gradient between latitudes

Maybe he meant the interval of degree markings on the outer side of the map?

Like, on the x-axis, sometimes the degree markings could be in increments
of 5° (e.g. set lat 10 30; markings be like 10°, 15°, 20°, etc)...and on
y-axis, the markings are in increments of 2° (e.g. set lon 80 90; markings
be like 80°, 82°, 84°, etc)

So...the gist of his question might be...why does GrADS assign irregular
intervals on the x and y axes? And, is there a way to make the intervals of
latitude and longitude the same, say, in increments of 5° instead of what I
described earlier?
