Try using maskout()

You might also find the const() function useful, for example to replace missing values with a zero.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [gradsusr] Question regarding precipitation typed nexrad

I had a question on how I could go about masking rain and snow and mixed precip over nexrad in Grads. Any help would be appreciated.
