[gradsusr] [EXTERNAL] Error while installing Grads on MacOS Big Sur

You should read that documentation page that the GrADS error message handed to you. It has a link (http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/gadoc/udpt.html) to more information about how to create your udpt file and what to put in it.

Dear Grads User Forum,
Recently, I updated the OS MacOS Siera to MacOS Big Sur. I was trying install Grads on it through Macport. It didn't give any error while installation. But I am not able to open grads on my system. It is throwing the following error.
GX Package Error: Could not find a record for the printing plug-in named "Cairo"

  * The environment variable GAUDPT has not been set

  * Unable to open the default User Defined Plug-in Table: /Users/kanhu/Downloads/grads-2.2.1/data/udpt

I am not sure about how to fix the error. As the error indicates I need to have some plug in files updt and Cairo. I don't know how to get these files. I would appreciate if someone could guide me to fix these issues.
I used the following commands to install grads on my PC.
