grads doesn't do that.
You could do it by yourself but it is really boring ..., that is grads x axis can be linear or log only: if you want something different, like cos(lat), you should transform everything and remap coords. A nightmare, i did it once for plotting data in UTM ... My suggestion is to avoid

Dear All,
I wish make a latitude-pressure plot of a variable, latitude being along x-axis. Can I scale the latitude (i.e. x-axis) interval to the map? I mean to say, if I wish to keep 10 deg interval of latitudes, this interval should decrease pole ward in the plot.
