Hi, Artur –
Use ‘set tlsupp month’ to suppress the month and year in the time axis labels.

Also, it’s a little hard to tell whether you’re using gxout shaded or grfill from your image, but grfill will display all the valid grid points, whereas the shaded contour algorithm trims around the perimeter of missing data so you end up miss a lot of pixels where the data are sparse.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your help, it works! Can you also suggest me how to get rid of the "3AUG 2018" record at the beginning of the X-axis which overwrites my color bar. The plot is attached.

Kind regards,
Artur

Artur,

After 'set lwid 255...' put it into use with 'set cthick 255'

See example in http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/gadoc/gradcomdsetlwid.html<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__cola.gmu.edu_grads_gadoc_gradcomdsetlwid.html&d=DwMGaQ&c=ApwzowJNAKKw3xye91w7BE1XMRKi2LN9kiMk5Csz9Zk&r=M2mFZsxo0ZoztoK2Lyoypu1kKkBVKyEoM9CXGWO42zk&m=Kk7u7SDckgbYgG3sC9KKl7VAJlN0LQmdYMXewvbEhnc&s=kq_wJ4GlCY5b1tMlCm9QE77vMTgnDUxxCB8sf_nMzmM&e=>

Dear Colleges,

I am using Opengrads Version 2.2.1.oga.1. I am trying to set line thickness using set lwid command. However, when I use the maximum value of thickness 'set lwid 255 11.0' the plotted line is still not thick. Please find attached the gs script and the plotted cross-section with the heights of -5 and 0 deg. isotherms which I want to make much thicker.

Kind regards,
Artur
