Hi !
I wanted to push the boundaries of countries on the continent
I had done this :
ga-> set display color white
ga-> c
ga-> sdfopen r.faible-act.nc
Scanning self-describing file:  r.faible-act.nc
SDF file r.faible-act.nc is open as file 1
LON set to -49.5 14.625
LAT set to -19.125 39.375
LEV set to 1000 1000
Time values set: 1979:7:1:9 1979:7:1:9
E set to 1 1
ga-> sdfopen r.79-2010_DA_jas.nc
Scanning self-describing file:  r.79-2010_DA_jas.nc
SDF file r.79-2010_DA_jas.nc is open as file 2
ga-> set lev 700
LEV set to 700 700
ga-> q file
File 1 :
  Descriptor: r.faible-act.nc
  Binary: r.faible-act.nc
  Type = Gridded
  Xsize = 58  Ysize = 53  Zsize = 27  Tsize = 2117  Esize = 1
  Number of Variables = 1
     r  27  t,z,y,x  Relative humidity
ga-> q file 2
File 2 :
  Descriptor: r.79-2010_DA_jas.nc
  Binary: r.79-2010_DA_jas.nc
  Type = Gridded
  Xsize = 58  Ysize = 53  Zsize = 27  Tsize = 2946  Esize = 1
  Number of Variables = 1
     r  27  t,z,y,x  Relative humidity
ga-> d ave(r.1,t=1,t=2117)-ave(r.2,t=1,t=2946)
Averaging.  dim = 3, start = 1, end = 2117
Averaging.  dim = 3, start = 1, end = 2946
Contouring: -0.9 to 1.8 interval 0.3
ga-> c
ga-> set gxout shaded
ga-> d ave(r.1,t=1,t=2117)-ave(r.2,t=1,t=2946)
Averaging.  dim = 3, start = 1, end = 2117
Averaging.  dim = 3, start = 1, end = 2946
Contouring: -0.9 to 1.8 interval 0.3
ga-> xcbar -line -edge triangle
ga-> draw xlab longitude
ga-> draw ylab latitude
ga-> draw title anomalies saisonnieres des annees de faible activite
ga-> printim anomali_faible.png
ga-> quit
