[gradsusr] Control File Issues for HDF5 file

Just verifying I came across the exact same issue and the response from Jennifer in modifying the control file with the new attributes worked for me.

Try changing your variable declarations to what is copied below.
No upper case letters in the alias varname, and the shape is t,y,x.



If those changes don’t work, please send the complete output from ‘q config’.

I am trying to open HDF5 file from GPM IMERG file( 3B-HHR.MS.MRG.3IMERG.20170101.0000.V06A.HDF5) using GraDS version(2.0.2.oga.2). The grads control file is as follow:

When I open this file in grads. It successfully works. But While trying to display a variable called calp is shows the following error:
