Dear Govind,
I am not aware if GrADS can get that done easily. May be I haven’t used it enough. I use CDO to perform this operation and then use grads to visualize. This looks like you are interested in percentile of a given time span. Use CDO’s “timpctl” command. You can either get it done in 3 lines or a 1 line piped command.

Greetings 

I am trying to calculate?75th percentile for rainfall threshold value for a certain season using GPM IMERG daily data using GrADS.I can't find any document in grads nor able to imagine where to start. Can
anybody please share any script or help me how to compute it?Thank you, in advance, for any kind of help of suggestion in this regard.
