Dear Weather Man,

   I suspect that your installation of the superpack may have not finished
correctly. If you haven'd done so, I suggest you uninstall OpenGrADS 2.2
from the start menu, reboot your machine (this is important) and re-install
it. With the superpack, there is no need to install or  start Xming.

If you want to check your environment variables on Windows I believe (I am
not close to a Windows machine right now) that you simply enter

C:\ SET

from the command line. In this case, do you see the DISPLAY variable set to
any value? You do not need to set DISPLAY.
